Medical Billing and Scheduling

T his is a Web 2.0 application for medical practices that can be used by Doctors, Physical Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and Administrative Staff.

• The application is used via browser so there is no need to install any software on the users’ machines.
• Administrative Staff can set up doctor’s appointment templates using various patient visit types, available rooms, holidays and day of the week. Then they can set up the Doctor’s appointments when Patients call in or walk in and the appointments are made based on the doctor’s template.
• Receptionist can print the patient check in forms. Doctors can use the Encounter forms and various other prescription and referral forms.
• The standard Diagnosis (ICD®) codes and Procedure (CPT®) codes are searchable and the Application also maintains the history of the codes used earlier for a Patient.
•  The application is a Scheduling & Billing solution for a Medical Practice, the encounter forms can be further sent over to the Biller and Biller can submit it for the Insurance Claim.

The application is developed using Microsoft .Net® technology. It uses MS SQL server as a database. It uses Telerik Rad Controls for ASP.Net, SQL Reporting Services and Single Sign On with corporate server.
