Patient Tracker System

T his is a Web 2.0 application for a medical practice that manages patients in multiple locations. This application is available through browser and it does not need any installation on the user’s machine. The users can store patient’s contact information, their relative’s contact information, the call log, insurance etc. More importantly it allows users to track the movement of the patients from a nursing home to hospital to home or other facilities and stay in touch with the patient directly or via their relative.

Contact notes are maintained for each interaction with the patient or their relative. Doctors can use this application to document their visit with appropriate procedure code and billing information. This billing information is then used by biller for further processing.

The application can interact with other billing systems in the practice through a nightly or scheduled job so that the patient information can be synched between the two systems.

The application is developed using Microsoft .Net ® technology. It uses MS SQL server as a database. It also uses Telerik Rad Controls for ASP.Net and SQL Reporting Services.
